Why this beats buying in bulk by design

The conventional wholesale model asks you to commit to a few hundred units of a single design and hope it sells. If you guessed right you do well. If you guessed wrong you carry the mistake for a year.

Series ordering inverts that. Instead of 300 units of one design, you take one series each of twelve designs. Same capital, twelve chances to find the piece your customer actually wants, and a full size run on the rail from day one.

This is the part that matters most and the part most buyers do not get from their supplier. Because we are in Istanbul, goods typically reach EU destinations in 3 to 5 days once ready. A restock is a two-week decision, so you can chase your own bestsellers while the season is still running instead of watching them sell out in June and waiting until the following spring.

A realistic first order

There is no single right answer, but a typical first order from a boutique looks something like this:

  1. Pick eight to twelve designs

    Across bikinis, one-piece and a few plus-size or modest pieces if those match your customer.

  2. One series of each

    Five pieces per design. Full size run, modest total commitment.

  3. Trade for two to three weeks

    Watch what actually moves rather than what you expected to move.

  4. Reorder the winners in depth

    Multiple series of the three or four designs that sold, while the season is still open.
