Istanbul versus sourcing from Asia
The low-minimum question is really a lead time question. A factory that needs eight months of notice has to protect itself with large minimums. Producing three days freight from Europe changes that arithmetic — shorter cycles mean smaller, more frequent orders are viable for both sides.
It also means you can reorder a style that is selling instead of watching it go out of stock for a season.
