Plus Size Swimwear Manufacturer
Most swimwear ranges stop at XL. We produce a full 3XL–5XL run as a standard series — drafted properly, not scaled up as an afterthought.
Most swimwear ranges stop at XL
Your customer above that size walks into the shop, finds nothing that fits, and does not come back. She is not a niche market being underserved by accident — she is a large share of the market that most of the supply chain has quietly decided to skip.
We produce 3XL, 4XL and 5XL as a standard part of the range, in full series, in the same fabrics and the same designs as the rest of the collection.
What a plus-size series actually contains
A series is a ready-balanced pack. For plus-size the split is weighted toward the sizes that move fastest, so you are not left holding the largest size at the end of the season.
More on how series ordering works: series and minimum order quantities.
It is not the same pattern, scaled up
This is where most plus-size swimwear goes wrong. A design graded up without redrawing the pattern fits badly across the bust and the hip, and a badly fitting swimsuit comes back as a return — or worse, as a review.
Support
Cup construction, underwire options and strap width all have to change with the size, not just the measurement.
Panel construction
Side panels, ruching and tummy control panels are drafted for the size, so the garment holds its shape when worn.
Fabric tension
Stretch behaves differently over a larger area. Fabric weight and elastane content are chosen so the suit does not thin out or go transparent.
Why most factories skip this category
Separate patterns. Separate grading. Lower volume per style than the core sizes. It is more work for less output, so a lot of manufacturers quietly leave plus-size alone and hope nobody asks.
Which is exactly why it is worth stocking. Less competition on the shelf, a customer who is genuinely relieved to find something that fits, and repeat purchases because she is not going back to searching every summer.

Frequently asked questions
What plus sizes do you produce?
We produce 3XL, 4XL and 5XL as a standard plus-size series, alongside the core S to XXL range. The plus-size series is supplied as five pieces: two 3XL, two 4XL and one 5XL.
Is the plus-size range the same designs as the main collection?
Yes. Plus-size is produced in the same fabrics and the same designs, drafted on patterns made for those sizes rather than graded up from smaller ones.
What is the minimum order for plus-size swimwear?
Low. You can order a single series per design, which suits boutiques testing the category before committing to volume.
Can plus-size swimwear be produced under my own brand?
Yes. Private label and OEM production is available across the plus-size range, including your own labels, hangtags and packaging.
What fabric do you use for plus-size swimwear?
Premium Lycra by DuPont, with four-way stretch, shape retention and resistance to chlorine and UV. Fabric weight is selected so the garment keeps its opacity and support in larger sizes.
